Desert Child

Oil on Canvas | 30”x12” | SOLD

Palm trees sway at the edges of home,

The scent of orange blossoms float on the wind,

Mountains surround, like steadfast guardians.

Days shimmering with dust and sunshine,

A child dances between drought and bloom.

Like the desert, they are resilient and steady,

A safe oasis for those who seek shelter,

Electric, like a storm rolling across dry land.

Proof that life can rise even from thirst and stone.

Even if they wander far one day,

They remain, forever a child of the desert,

Shaped by its silence, its storms,

And its stubborn, quiet magic.

Perceiving Patterns

Oil on Canvas | 20”x20” | SOLD

Windows to the Soul

Oil on Canvas | 12”x16” (x2) | $250

Within the eyes lies a world

no one else can enter.

A labyrinth of memory,

secret rivers of feeling.

To look is to feel,

what is only partly known,

To brush against a life

that exists beyond reach,

Fully lived, yet fully secret,

To those who take time to observe..

Childlike Wonder

Oil on Canvas + Goldleaf | 24”x24” | $525

What We Were Fed

Oil on Canvas | 20”x24” | SOLD

Baggage

Oil on Canvas | 20”x24” | $400

Like a burr caught in fabric,

Or a splinter lodged beneath skin,

These things follow me.

Some were placed in my arms

The moment I arrived,

A weight disguised as inheritance.

Others I gathered without noticing,

Picked up along the way.

I move through time like a child,

Bent beneath these things I carry,

Small hands wrapped around burdens,

Too large to grasp.

Riptide

Oil on Canvas | 24”x30” | $500

Soft and Subtle

Oil on Canvas | 20”x20” | SOLD

Among soft petals, a chaos dragon coils,

Its lair inviting,

Patient and unseen.

It does not strike,

Instead it whispers,

Sliding between trust and care.

Harm drifts gently here,

Carried in whispers,

Fluent in the language of flowers.

By the time the danger is known,

It has already been welcomed in.

Tranquil Tide

Oil on Canvas | 24”x24” | $375

Disassociation

Oil and Acrylic on Canvas | 16”x40” | SOLD

I am present,

but only in body.

The practiced art of pretending.

Everything else slips inward.

Behind my eyes,

Fictions flicker like film.

I rehearse normalcy while leaving it,

Run into a quieter place

One I get to choose.

It isn’t disappearance,

its control.

A place I can step in and out of,

without anyone noticing.

Until the circumstances change,

I am here.

Convincingly.

The Balance

Breathless Depths

Watercolor on Paper | 12”x16” | SOLD

Hazel-eyed Coyote

Oil on Canvas | 18”x24” | SOLD

Wandering coyote,

Hazel-eyed,

Fur a mix of dust and silver,

Proud, crafty, precise.

His presence is felt before he is seen,

A strategic survivalist, wild & untamed,

Though loneliness lives in his shadow

A thread of connection, unnoticed at first,

An underlying current stirring without permission,

The waiting, the wanting, dancing between with caution

There is a sameness in their gaze,

an unspoken truth,

and a hunger dared to be satisfied.

The Tiger Beneath

Oil on Canvas | 36”x36” | $900

I was taught,

Anger was something to fear,

Better to ignore, than to listen.

So I learned to quiet the tiger,

To soften its teeth into silence.

But with time I see,

That anger is not the enemy,

It names what is not right,

When the body knows before the mind.

Understanding hones the instinct,

Not chaos, but clarity.

Not destruction, but power.

I am learning to listen,

To that roar in my chest,

To the tiger beneath my skin,

In its fierceness and depth.

Sunlit Meadow

Oil on Canvas | 12”x16” | $250

Death by Dogwood

Oil on Canvas | 30”x40” | $875

Beneath the dogwood, bones lie bare,

Its blossoms drifting, heavy and relentless.

Overwhelming.

Suffocating.

Petals that once rained promise and grace,

Have sharpened into thorns, twisting through marrow,

Bearing the weight of every command to shrink, bend, and obey,

Dimming the spark that once lived.

Yet through the spaces of loss,

The tree blooms still,

A quiet testament

To all that was given,

To all that was taken.

Mind F*ck

Oil on Canvas | 30”x40” | $875

No one chose this.

Still, it lands on me.

Logic names the facts,

Tells me why.

Emotion doesn’t listen,

It reacts anyway.

Selflessness feels heavy,

Like trekking through mud.

At odds with it all,

Tied by blood.

The Allure

Oil on Canvas | 24”x36” | $550

A mirror waits, polished and patient.

It does not ask who you are,

Only who you wish to be.

Devotion,

Slow, reverent, and captivating.

The longer you look,

The less you recognize.

Taking the form of an altar,

Attention, the offering,

Desire, the truth.

Jaws of Uncertainty

Oil on Canvas | 20”x24” | $325

Like a wild beast hovering above,

a guillotine of my own making.

Choices crush.

Obligations suffocate.

Breath shallow. Heart wild.

Overwhelmed with no escape

Caught in the jaws of uncertainty,

while the world spins on

relentless, indifferent, unstoppable.

Working Palette

Oil on Canvas + Resin | 18”x24” | SOLD

Here lies the place where beginnings and endings meet,

Brushstrokes that remember each experiment,

Layers of color tested, discarded, or returned to.

Time presses in between the marks,

Some visible, some buried,

All carrying the weight of choices made,

Every smear, every collision of hue

Is a memory, a decision, a small act of discovery.

This is not the finished work,

But the journey behind it.

To look at it is to see creation in motion,

A story told in color, touch, and time,

Resulting in the completion of the greater whole.

Metamorphosis

Multi-medium on Canvas | 18”x24”|$425

She stands where two worlds meet,

One strict with rules, rituals, and certainty,

The other wild, untamed, pulsing with desire and instinct.

Shards of both cling to her,

Overlapping, colliding, refusing to fully merge.

One side is a body of habit and expectation,

The other spills outward, alive, messy, electric.

She is suspended between them,

A scatter of selves, restless and entangled,

A life borrowed from both,

Belonging fully to none.

Future Stranger

Watercolor on Paper | 24”x30” | $500

Will I be someone I’m proud of.

Someone I like,

Someone I learn to forgive,

Or someone I turn away from?

The person I’m becoming,

Stands just beyond me,

A stranger shaped by time,

Close enough to imagine,

Too distant to know,

So I live open-handed,

Unexpecting,

Letting the present hold me,

As I let the story of my life unfold in front of me,

One moment,

At a time.

Bloom in the Hollow

Oil on Canvas | 18”x24” | SOLD

Haunted

Oil on Canvas | 20”x24” | $475

I still feel it sometimes,

The person I used to be.

Like a ghost haunting an old house,

Drifting through the hollow rooms of me.

Like fingertips brushing against skin,

Touching the edges of who I’ve become,

As if trying to remember where they fit,

But this house is full,

And the old me has no place here.

Soft Repose

Oil on Canvas | 18”x24” | $375

Tethered

Oil on Canvas | 16”x40” | $425

Thin as breath,
Strong as a memory,
Lines extend from us,
To things unnamed.

Fastening ourselves,
To motion,
To ritual,
To the echo of something,
That once felt true.

Between drifting and falling,
There is a tension.
That reminds us who we are,
In this tangled world.

The Wilderness

Oil on Canvas | 36”x48” | SOLD

I walk into a place I do not know,
Where the trees whisper secrets,
And the ground beneath me trembles with possibilities.

The night is thicker than any fear I’ve known,
Yet the stars spill across the sky,
Guiding me forward, one step at a time.

I run, I stumble, and I fall,
In my failures, I am shown new paths,
Shifting shapes of myself I am only beginning to know.

The wilderness is full of chaos and grace,
Shadows and glimmers

By the time dawn stretches across the sky,
I will not be the same as when I entered,
And perhaps, that is a gift.

It Comes in Waves
